Cape Town has long been on my travel radar—not only for its stunning natural beauty, rich culture, and iconic landmarks, but also because it's home to some beautiful hotels. I’ve booked many clients into these incredible properties, but this was my first opportunity to experience them firsthand. And wow—Cape Town exceeded all expectations.

Fun fact: Cape Town is home to the oldest wine-producing region in the Southern Hemisphere, the only penguin colony on the African continent, and Table Mountain—one of the New7Wonders of Nature.

My mission for this trip was to visit as many Signature Network hotels as possible. At every stop, we were greeted with genuine warmth, a refreshing welcome drink, and a sense that we were truly home—even as jet-lagged travelers. Here’s a recap of my hotel adventure:

12 Apostles Hotel & Spa

Staying in the Presidential Suite at the 12 Apostles was the perfect way to reset after our long flight. This oceanfront retreat is nestled between the majestic Twelve Apostles mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean—only 15 minutes from the heart of Cape Town, but it feels like a secluded sanctuary.

We dined at Azure Restaurant, where the flavors were as breathtaking as the views. A nightcap at the iconic Leopard Bar, complete with live music and sweeping ocean views, was the cherry on top. I’ll never forget the gorgeous soaking tub overlooking the sea—a dream ending to our arrival day.  A special thank you to Juan the General Manager for making our stay complete.

The Silo Hotel

This hotel is truly a work of art—literally and figuratively. Built into the historic grain silo above the Zeitz MOCAA contemporary art museum, The Silo’s design is bold, modern, and unlike anything I’ve seen. The location in the V&A Waterfront district offers unmatched views of the harbor and Table Mountain.

My afternoon massage at their world-class spa was the definition of relaxation. We enjoyed craft cocktails at the rooftop bar before indulging in dinner at The Granary Café. One particularly special touch? A gorgeous decanter of port beside the most beautiful freestanding tub.

Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel

Affectionately known as the Pink Nellie, this iconic hotel is as rich in history as it is in charm. Located in the heart of the city near Company’s Garden and Table Mountain, the Mount Nelson is a true oasis.

We stayed in a beautiful garden cottage suite that felt like our own private retreat. Live music filled the air as we sipped cocktails and listened to an incredible pianist and singer. The pink accents throughout the hotel added a playful yet elegant touch, and once again—I found myself in a bath tub worthy of a magazine spread.

Cape Grace Hotel

If you’re looking for a classic and luxurious stay at the water’s edge, Cape Grace is the place. Located on its own private quay in the V&A Waterfront, it offers elegance and convenience in equal measure.

We stayed in a stunning corner suite with panoramic views of the marina—best enjoyed from our private balcony. And yes, you read that right: there was a putting green in the room. Small touches like that made it both fun and unforgettable.

Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel

A chic boutique stay in the trendy Gardens neighborhood, Cape Cadogan is perfect for travelers who want a local, artistic vibe. The hotel is filled with thoughtful design elements, contemporary art, and a warmth that immediately feels like home.

We loved the included breakfast at the charming restaurant next door, and it’s just a short stroll to Kloof Street, packed with great shops and restaurants. For those who love boutique charm with Signature perks, this one’s a hidden gem.

Whether you're drawn to the grandeur of Mount Nelson, the design-forward Silo, or the secluded luxury of the 12 Apostles, I can help you choose the perfect stay based on your travel style.

Bonus: When you book any of these hotels through me, I can include exclusive perks like daily breakfast, room upgrades, spa or dining credits, and flexible check-in/out times—all at no extra cost to you.
