Paradise Found in the Heart of Times Square

I was looking for a fun little stay-cation in New York City to celebrate my birthday. We had purchased Broadway Show tickets, so ideally I wanted a location that was not too far away from the theater district. I have never been a fan of staying in the Times Square area as it is crowded and loud. The restaurants are usually overpriced for the quality.
However, a brand new player has arrived to Times Square. It is not a new player in the hotel world; however, I believe it is a game changer for the chaos of Times Square. The Edition Hotel at Times Square offers the always gorgeous contemporary style of Ian Schrager with well appointed rooms and stunning garden spaces throughout the public areas of the hotel. We enjoyed dinner on the Terrace that was delicious, relaxing and I never heard a cab beep their horn.
I am a huge fan of The Edition in London and my stay at this NYC property solidified my love of this brand.
If you book this property through me, you will receive some amazing perks:
- $100 food and beverage credit at hotel
- Complimentary full breakfast for two daily
- Early check in/ late check out upon availability
- Upgrade upon availability

That sounds like a really refreshing take on staying in Times Square, especially with how hectic that area usually is. Makes me think about how nice it is to balance travel and downtime, like when I just unwind in the evening playing Rocket Goal during some free time. It’s a simple game but surprisingly fun and relaxing after a busy day.
